The Abrolhos 8000 has been awarded Western Australian 2008 Boat of the Year for Fibreglass Fishing Trailerable boat over 6 meters. A prestigeous award that in acknowledgement of the other boats being judged, Commodore Marine is very proud to receive.

This acheivement also cements the reputation of Commodore Marine's position as a quality manufacturer, as in 2006 it also received the Western Australian Boat of the Year award for Trailerable Fishing Offshore boat for the Attitude 7000 Centre Console.

Commodore Marine, proud sponsors of Danny Green, were proud to be present at the successfull fight on Sunday the 16th of December for the WBA World Light Heavyweight bout.

The Commodore crew attended the fight in support of Danny's quest and had a great night.

Commodore Marine also showcased Danny's boat at the fight for this fans and supporters to see.

Congratulations to Danny Green, his training and promotions team for the great effort they put into bringing a World Title to Australia.

Commodore Marine and its Abrolhos 8000 boat were showcased as the only Australian Boatbuilder at the official launch of the Yamaha 350 hp V8 outboard motor.

Commodore Marine was selected to showcase the motor on the Abrolhos 8000 as it was the only boatbuilder who builds as standard a boat strong enough to cater for the high touque output of the new V8 outboard.

Yamaha invited Commodore to the launch at Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island for the 3 day event, showcasing and testing the motor with media and Yamaha dealers.

The motor and the boat were put through their paces with everyone coming off very impressed.

Additionally the data after the event showed supurb efficiency and performance figures which can be viewed the Commodore web page under "Our Boats and then "Abrolhos 8000".

Significantly the media reviewers were very impressed with Commodores build quality and also performance, which has resulted in several technical reviews being requested.

Commodore Marine wish to thank Yamaha Australia for the faith and trust in showcasing their new motor which we believe presents an ideal combination.

The Mandurah Boat Show was a great succes for Commodore and with the release of the New Couta 685 Walkaround, our Danny Green association and of course the new Yamaha 350hp V8, we had plenty to talk about with people.

More pleasing were the existing clients of Commodore who still sing the praises of the boats and always come through to say gidday.

The weather was great for attendees and based on feedback the Commodore Crew are looking forward to a great summer ahead.
